2 rooms in 3 bed 1 bathroom house in Horsforth - good transport links.

Looking for:

Female working professionals; mid-late twenties to mid-late thirties/early forties who like to socialise, have a bit of a laugh and also do their own thing. Two single independent women with no kids live here so would love to meet people in the same kind of situation!

House:

Chilled, clean & tidy, flowers and organised. Current housemates love art, live music (acoustic, electronic, poetry, spoken word), nature, philosophy, hiking, a good night out here and there (no stranger to a Leeds party but it’s def. not that kind of house!), films and podcasts.

Spiritual/openminded, little alternative, big on bio-productions & recycle/reuse & LGBTQ+ friendly.

Garden with grass & patios - great for summer BBQs, gatherings, reading, sunbathing. Whatever floats your boat.

Bedrooms:

Master bedroom has built in wardrobes with space to hang, shelves and a huge mirror, storage space under the bed, floor space for desk, exercise or yoga mat/gear, chair or tv/gaming area; and there’s more room for long-term storage in the loft.

Other room has a single bed at the mo, there has been a small double in there before (turned the other way) if you prefer. The smaller of the two rooms has two big under bed draws, 3 shelves, stair bulkhead which is good as a tv stand or for record player etc; wardrobe with hanging space & clothes shelves just outside the room.

Bathroom:

Electric shower. Deep bath. New toilet, standard basin, baskets for bathroom items and small mirrored cupboard above sink.

Living room:

Arts, crafts, yoga space mostly; there is a sofa with a bed in it for mates / family who visit and want to stay. Record player you can use obviously & piano. A smart TV will appear at some point for house films & chill times. Dining table with 4 chairs (two extra folded ones if needs be) so we can have dinner parties and shared meals.

Clothes washing:

New clothes washer/ dryer combi machine, two clothes horses and outside washing line for sunny days.

Travel:

Free on street parking.

5 mins walk to bus stops number 50/50a (Kirkstall Rd, Burley Rd, through the city bus station and onto Seacroft), no. 27 travels through West Park, Headingley Lane into the city and of course buses going the other way into Yeadon, Otley & afar.

Horsforth train station is 10/15 mins walk from the and gets you into Leeds city within 10 mins stopping at Headingley & Burley train stations on the way. Train in the opposite direction will take you to York directly within 1 hour at certain times of day; or around 50 mins with 1 change at other times (check train websites not google). Harrogate is also 20 mins in that direction too.

Do look on the train or bus direct websites as they are more accurate than web searches.

10 mins drive to Leeds Brad. Airport.

Ambitions:

Working towards a permaculture lifestyle, growing own fruit and veg; using own compost etc & would be cool to live with people who have similar interests who may want to collab. on a project or some creative, natural entrepreneurial kind.

Utility bills & options:

Option to pay fixed bill price each month with rent or split/share between house mates. Open to negotiation with deep cleans and gardening too.

Bills come to £248.44 pp, pm which includes internet, gas, elec., water, tv lisc., regular deep clean of house, gardening trims/ maintenance and council tax band B.
