One person or a couple* – preferably mature student or young professional - can move in from NOW, but preferably August-September

Hi I’m Laura. I’ve lived in a 2 bedroom flat on Daisybank Road, Manchester, for the past 2 years. My boyfriend, Stephen, is moving out to be closer to a new job, but I love the flat and would love to share will someone so I can afford the rent and have someone to be sociable with in the evening.

RENT: £287. 50 per month (*if couple, rent will be split 3 ways (total rent per month = £575, so that would be £192 each)

ABOUT THE FLAT:

LOCATION: Second floor flat in a small apartment building on Daisybank Road. Has a nice private carpark round the back, trees and spacious lawn which is great for hot days and BBQs! 5-10mins from Asda (very handy!). 1min from 191/192/197 bus-routes into town centre or Stockport. 10mins from Oxford Road (uni campus, shops and bus-routes to town centre, Fallowfield or Didsbury).

HALL: spacious, well-lit and welcoming.

LOUNGE: very spacious for a 2-bed flat! Has 2 brand new brown leather sofas, TV, stylish glass dinning table and 4 dinning chairs. Also has lovely patio-doors looking out onto trees outside and a juliet-balcony with flower-box and bird-feeder.

KITCHEN: again, very spacious for a 2-bed flat! Has fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, slow-cooker, electric hob and oven, extractor fan, washing machine and lots of cupboards for food, pots and pans. Stylish faux-black-marble worktops, brushed steel cooker/oven, black tiles and faux-wood laminate flooring.

BATHROOMS: en-suite bathroom plus main bathroom off the hall. Main bathroom would be exclusively yours because I have the en-suite. Has large bath, shower, sink, mirror, toilet etc. Well-lit, clean and modern with white tiles.

BEDROOMS: 2 bedrooms. Yours is large and well-lit with 2 skylights. Double-bed with modern steel bed-frame. Bed-side cabinet + large wardrobe. Can add more furniture if you wish!

DÉCOR: the flat is clean, modern and stylish with sky-lights throughout, beige walls and brown carpet. I have added lots of my own paintings, photos, mirrors, plants and rugs to make the place homely and interesting but I am happy to move some/all of these to my room if you they’re not to your taste or you want to add your own personal touches.

A BIT ABOUT ME:

As I said, I’m Laura. I graduated from Leeds University with a BA in English Lit 2 years ago and now work in Manchester for the Civil Service. I work 9-5 (up to 2 days a week from home), but like to chill out with films, cooking and the occasional large Morgan’s Spiced in the evening.
My hobbies include going to bars/clubs/restaurants/cinema on the evenings and weekends, hosting the occasional party or summer BBQ, doing Taekwondo, watching films, playing Wii, reading, going to the zoo and I very occasionally force myself to go jogging when I’ve eaten too much chocolate. I’m happy pursuing these hobbies on my own or sharing them with you – whatever suits you best!

As a flat-mate I will respect your privacy, bake cookies and brownies, and keep the flat clean and tidy. In return I expect you to respect my privacy and try to generally tidy up after yourself when you’re not too busy.
