My apartment is thoroughly modern with double glazing, gas central heating, new bathroom and kitchen / diner. The lounge can be used as a communal room which has two sofas a decent large TV which has Sky as well as the normal other channels and DVD facility. The kitchen / diner has a washing machine, a gas / electric cooker, microwave, slow cooker, toaster, large fridge / freezer etc., and a dining table which seats four. The lodger's bedroom is a very nice room recently decorated and contains a bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobes and chest of drawers as well as a colour TV and a music system. The room also includes bedding and towels. The monthly rental costs cover council tax, electric, gas, water and broadband facilities.

I am a very clean and tidy person and I would expect any tenant to be of a similar nature. I quite frequently spend weekends away and also for longer periods to my property in Portugal, so the lodger would occasionally have the sole use of the apartment at the price of the bedroom.

Communications from my apartment are first class with the centre of Hyde and the bus station being only a 10 minute walk, as is the railway station into Manchester and Glossop, bus services are just outside the apartment, and it is only a few minutes drive to the motorway. Also worthy of note is that the apartment is only a short distance from the top of Werneth Low which is an area of beautiful scenery and is popular with walkers and runners alike.

When I am around and cooking, I am happy to share the food that I make with the lodger.
