*I'm going to leave the ad up for 2 weeks without responding to anyone, to get past the paywall and give everyone a fair chance, so if you don't hear back from me straight away that's why. I'll shortlist in w/c 3 June.*

About the flat:
A 2-bed first floor flat in a converted terraced house on St Marks Road in Easton, a few doors down from the Garden of Easton, Bristol Sweetmart etc. Stapleton Road station is <5 minute walk away with regular trains to Temple Meads and Montpelier, Redland and Clifton. Although we don't have outside space, the flat itself is light and airy. There is one catch, the living room is up a ladder - but you get used to it quickly! I was up and down it carrying dinner and a drink in no time. And once you're up there it's very cosy. Importantly: CATS ARE WELCOME (indoor only). My current flat mate is taking her two gorgeous boys with her :( so if you have a cat/s, you will be looked on favourably. Sadly no dogs allowed.

About me:
I work in nature conservation (mostly desk-based stuff rather than outside). I usually work in the office but WFH ~1 day a week. I love a quiet night in getting into a good series, although I do also have a penchant for quiz shows and tacky murder mysteries (I won't inflict them on you unless you're into it). On a standard week night, I go to bed laughably early, like 10pm. Although life has quietened down a bit now, I love spontaneous pints and I'm still partial to a big one every now and again - primarily techno, but my arm can be twisted for a bit of DnB. I also sing in two bands and a choir.

Even though I try not to be, I'm generally just quite a busy person, like over the summer I'm away more weekends than I'm home. I'm not obsessive about cleaning but I'm definitely very tidy, I like things to have their place and clutter stresses me out. I'd describe myself as an extroverted introvert, I'm very social, but I need solo time to recharge my batteries.

About you:
I'm looking for someone to live comfortably alongside and ideally become friends with. My outgoing flat mate is also a friend so I'd like to settle into a similar vibe. I don't really have any preconceptions about what you'll be like, but I guess I'm looking for someone with similar-ish interests who is up for hanging out together, but who has their own stuff going on too. I wouldn't want to live with someone who's just at home all the time not doing much - I think it's healthy when you live as a two for each of you to naturally get some alone time when the other one is out.
