Hello, my name's Zara. I am advertising this room on behalf of my grandmother- she has a lovely spare room she needs to let- just isn't great with computers! She is the live in landlady of a beautiful 3 storey terrace in Rusholme, 13 minutes walk from the front steps of Manchester university. My grandmother is called Pat, she is young at heart, has a great sense of humour, and a lot to teach and give. She has my cousin Joe who is 30, an executive at Vodafone living in one of the bedrooms in her house. He is very friendly and hardworking. The other room is the one they wish to let, ideally to a mature or post grad student who would perhaps like some help with their English and might prefer a slightly quieter home life while focusing on serious study. The room is on the top floor of the house on it's own, very quiet and private, furnished comfortably. My grandmother is always eager to help and welcome people as she is a retired nurse and I think she misses the care part of her life. She does everyone in the house's washing for them!
So quite a specific household in search of rather a specific kind of housemate. If you feel you could settle into a tranquil comfortable family home and would enjoy living with a cat (they have one) then please contact me, I will arrange viewings for her.
