Decent sized room available to rent in a luxurious canal side apartment in Castlefield. The flat is extremely spacious with an unusually large living space for a two bed apartment with nice wooden floors throughout. The flat was recently completely re-furnished with high quality furniture including a 6 seat dining room table, 2 leather 4 seater sofas, reclining leather chair and a 50 inch TV. There is a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher in a separate utility room. The flat is on the 4th floor of the Middle Warehouse building, directly across from the Wharf pub on the canal. It is ideally located, with 6 bars, pubs and restaurants within a two minute walk. It is also only a 4 or 5 minute walk to Deansgate-Castlefield tram station with easy access to the rest of the city. Parking is available for £60 a month through the building manager. Only bills are electricity and interner which works out at about 45 per person per month, no water or gas bills.

The available room has ample storage space with a large wardrobe and drawers, a king size bed and a desk. The room benefits from good lighting with floor to ceiling windows looking onto our balcony. Although the bathroom is not attached to the room, the tenant will have their own large bathroom across the hall with a shower and toilet.

I am 25 years old and moved into the flat this summer after my spending my first year in Manchester. While I also rent my room in the flat, it belongs to my family and I would act as the landlord. I am in my first year as a secondary school teacher and work very long hours during the week but like to go out at weekends. I am very laid back and sociable and looking for a like minded housemate. I keep the place clean and tidy and am respectful of noise and would ask the same in return. I do not mind whether the new tenant is male or female.
